Volunteering at Strathcarron
Our volunteers are vital to the work of Strathcarron – without them we simply couldn’t continue to provide such a high level of patient care and support. Over 600 volunteers are involved with Strathcarron Hospice. Volunteer support means that we need fewer members of paid staff so over 91 pence in every pound goes directly to patient care.
There are lots of reasons why people volunteer with Strathcarron. Please contact us and see how you could get involved!
Hospice Volunteers
You can work directly with patients and their families, behind the scenes, around the building, in an administrative role, or help to raise money. Please
contact us and see how you could get involved!
Event Volunteers
There are a range of opportunities to get involved in our fundraising activities and events throughout the year. Please
contact us to see how you could help.
Shop Volunteers
Volunteer to help us in our
hospice shops around Forth Valley and Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. All are run entirely by volunteer managers and staff, meaning more money goes directly to patient care. We are always keen to hear from anyone who wishes to join and support these much valued teams. There is a place for everyone as duties range from assisting customers to selling, sorting and displaying goods. Full training will be provided.
If you are interested in volunteering in your local shop or you would like more information, please
contact us.
