When you become involved with the Hospice team you can expect to:
• Be treated with dignity and respect.
• Have you needs attended to, physical, emotional, social, financial or spiritual.
• Be given information about your illness.
• Have opportunities to discuss your illness.
• Play a full part in making decisions about your care and treatment.
• Have support extended to your family / carers.
• Have a summary of your care sent to your GP and Hospital Consultant.
• Be given care irrespective of your gender, race, culture, age, lifestyle or religious beliefs.
• Have care and support provided at no direct cost to you or your family.
• Have details of your personal life and illness kept confidential.
• Have the opportunity to make comments, compliments or complaints.
