Award CeremonyStrathcarron Hospice Family Support Service has won a prestigious NHS award at a ceremony in Stirling. The Forth Valley NHS Trust 'Celebrating Success' awards recognise exceptional health initiatives in the Forth Valley area that have a positive impact on the life of patients.

Strathcarron was one of four finalists from 14 shortlisted entries selected from an intial 70 submissions. The award recognises the success of the Children and Young Person's Bereavement Service at Strathcarron. The Seasons Groups provide group-based educational sessions aimed at dealing with loss. To date over 120 young people have been supported through the programme and the award includes a cheque for £750 that will contribute to the further development of the service. The Children's Service is 100% funded by charitable contributions and needs your support to continue its work.
