Fundraising for Strathcarron

Angela Gillies, head of Fundraising at Strathcarron HospiceMany people think that we are fully funded by the NHS, but we receive just 38 pence out of every pound we need from the NHS.  The rest depends on you. We need to raise over £65,000 every week to continue providing free care.

We organise our own fundraising events but if you want to organise an event and need advice then contact our fundraising department. We can provide Fundraising Packs and advice on how to make your fundraising efforts successful!

Call the Fundraising Team on 01324 826222.

Community Supporters - Friends of Strathcarron

We have some amazing supporters throughout Forth Valley and beyond. There are 14 separate groups of Friends of Strathcarron Hospice spread over our whole catchment area. These groups organise their own local fundraising events throughout the year.  Their hard work, constant dedication and fundraising activities generates a great deal of funding for the hospice.

Friends of Strathcarron Hospice Groups are always looking for new members with enthusiasm, fresh ideas and a willingness to 'muck in' and make it happen. Wherever you stay in our catchment area there will be a branch near you. There are currently groups in Bannockburn, Bonnybridge & District, Bo’ness, Bridge of Allan, Callander, Causewayhead, Cumbernauld, Denny & Dunipace, Dunblane, Falkirk, Grangemouth, Larbert & District, Sauchie & District, and West Stirlingshire. In a year they raise over £50,000. Please contact the Fundraising Department on 01324-826222, and we will put you in touch with your local group.
