Strathcarron Hospice - In Good Company. We rely on Companies large and small to raise funds on our behalf through a range of activities, initiatives and sponsorship. Strathcarron is an important and prestigious local charity that is always in the news with good PR, whether it's a visit by Princess Anne or our celebrity supporter Lorraine Kelly. Companies benefit by generating goodwill with employees and the public. By supporting Strathcarron your company will be seen to be supporting some of the most vulnerable people in the community.

There are various ways that you and your workforce can become supporters of Strathcarron Hospice.

Start up a Payroll Giving scheme - employees can donate to Strathcarron straight from their gross salaries before tax is deducted giving tax relief on those donations. Click here for more on the Give As You Earn scheme.

Matched Giving - where your company matches what employees have pledged, further motivating staff to raise funds.

Sponsorship of Events - sponsor one of our events and benefit from the advertising, PR and goodwill that is created around the event. For example you could sponsor our 10k Fun Run and get your company name on the 800 or so race t-shirts. Details of current opportunities can be found on the events page.

Special Sponsorship - sponsor a nurse for a day, a week, a month or even a year. Pay for a Seasons Group - our children's bereavement service. Sponsor our patients' meals for a week. Sponsor our minibus for patient transport. This is a tangible way to get involved in the delivery of our services.

Donation Day – any new or good quality clothing or other items are very much needed to help our shops. We can arrange a specific day to uplift any donations that your staff can offer.

Recycling - your used printer cartridges and old mobile phones are worth cash to us. We have a source that will take them and donate a considerable sum to us. Be charitable and 'green' at the same time.

Challenge Day - take part in our Its a Knockout Competition. Teams from companies and services such as Fire, Police, and the Army join us every August for a day of fun challenges. Enter and sponsor your own team.

Donate to our Shops - Donating to Strathcarron Hospice can provide your company with a practical, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way of disposing of your unsold products and equipment. Samples and promotions, returns and seconds, and surplus or out of season stock could be used to make money for Strathcarron’s work.

Put on an Event in aid of Strathcarron - it could be a special event suggested by staff or simply your annual golf outing played for charity. Invite us to come and speak -we can come to your event to talk about how the money you are raising will benefit Strathcarron. We can talk to your staff to show how important their support is. Each year we run a number of events that are very popular, these include a Giltz and Glamour Day, Ladies' Nights, a Ladies' Lunch, Sports Dinners, Walk Across Scotland, Golf Day, 10k Run, Fashion Show, Carol Singing and a Ladies Midnight Walk.

We want to establish long-term partnerships with local companies who want to contribute to a high profile, worthy cause and develop good community and staff relations.
